The six-seat Model Y L is back on test in Germany: Carwow and @TeslaNewswire posted photos of the camouflaged crossover at the Nürburgring with German plates and 20″ Uberhelix wheels (EVwire, insideTesla.de).
Already EU type-approved
The Y L received EU type approval in late 2025. Documents cited by Drive Tesla Canada and @eivissa point to an 88.2 kWh pack, WLTP up to 681 km, and Giga Shanghai production for European export.
Timeline: the spy-shot → orders pattern
In the U.S., just over two months passed from first camouflaged sighting to order books opening; deliveries from September 2026. Europe could follow a similar pace with tooling at Giga Berlin (Not a Tesla App).
Equipment and expected pricing
Premium cabin: ventilated and heated seats, captain’s second row, heated third row, 8″ rear display, and 19-speaker audio. European price unconfirmed; analysts place the Y L as the most expensive local Model Y option, possibly from ~€66,990.
